The idea
A graph you can only fill in person
Search engines and language models understand the web through entities and the links between them. The club applies the same logic to its members. Your profile is your entity page. The events you attend and the people you meet are linked to it, and each link says how it was proven: a scan on site, or a confirmation from both sides.
Join
Through a member, or straight from the site
- Scan a member's tag or badge, or open their link
/e/<MID>. The member who brought you in is remembered. - Leave your email.
- Type the code we email you, or open the link in the same email. It confirms your address and gives you your member number and your MID. Add your name on My badge.
Your MID is a short public identifier, eight characters. Your link /e/<MID> is both your profile and your invitation: whoever joins through it is linked to you.
No password, a code by email
Enter your email, receive a six-digit code, type it in. The same email also carries a sign-in link, handy on a computer. On a phone, use the code: it keeps you signed in within the browser you scan with, which is what you want at an event.
You stay signed in for 90 days on that browser. Sign out anytime from your profile.
Your badge
Your entity page, with what you choose to show
Your badge lives at /e/<MID>. Add a name and your networks (X, LinkedIn, Bluesky, YouTube, Mastodon), and it lists the events you checked in at and the members you met.
Public or private, per section
Networks, events and meetings each have their own switch on My badge. All three start private.
See it as others do
My badge has a link to your public badge exactly as a visitor sees it.
Your QR code
My badge shows your link as a QR code. Tap it for full screen and let people scan it.

Ways to add links to your entity
Check in at an event
Scan the event code on the club stand during the event.
Meet a member
During the event, record the meeting from their badge; they confirm on their phone.
Bring people in
Share your link or your tag. Each member who joins through it is linked to you.
Meet at an event
Check in, and record who you meet
First live at SEO Summit, 15 and 16 October.
- Sign in on your phone before you go, in your usual browser.
- Check in: scan the event code on the club stand with your phone camera. It works only during the event, and adds the event to your badge.
- Open the other member's badge: scan the QR code on their My badge page, or tap their tag. Then tap I met <name> at <event>.
- Show them the meeting code that appears on your screen. They scan it and confirm. The code lasts five minutes and works once.
The stand screen shows the event leaderboard: who has met the most members. Someone without an account who scans your badge lands on it with a Join button. If they join, they are linked to you.
Your tag
Write your link into it, once
The tag carries an NFC chip. Put your link on it and most phones reach your badge with a tap, screen on, no app on their side: Android opens it, iPhone (XS and later) shows a banner to tap. Your badge page on the site shows the same link as a QR code for the camera.
- Install a free NFC writer, for example NFC Tools (iPhone or Android).
- Write a URL record: in NFC Tools, Write, Add a record, URL, paste
https://entitieseverywhere.com/e/<MID>, then Write. My badge shows your link with a copy button. - Hold the tag to the top edge of your phone (iPhone) or the middle of its back (Android) until it confirms. Test it with another phone.

Privacy
What you show, and how to leave
Your email stays private and is used to sign you in and to run the club. Each section of your badge starts private, and you choose what to show. A meeting appears on a public badge only when both members show their meetings. To delete your account, write to [email protected]. Details in the legal notice.
